Summer Lawn Feed – Complete Protection – Mr. Green Grass® is a fertilizer blend composed primarily of nitrogen, potassium, phosphorus, and iron. Its main purpose is to protect the grass against sunburn. Furthermore, it prevents nutrient leaching and increases the grass’s drought tolerance. It helps the lawn withstand high temperatures and recover quickly. Our comprehensive summer feed is environmentally friendly.

Remember to store the fertilizer blend in a cool, dry place in its original, unopened packaging, out of reach of children and pets. Additionally, do not repackage the product into other containers.

The release rate of a consistent dose depends strictly on precise soil moisture and temperature. Other factors such as pH, EC, or microbial activity do not affect the process. This technology relies on a polymer coating that encases the nutrients. Soil water penetrates the semipermeable coating into the granule, dissolving and releasing its contents. Once depleted, the empty coating biodegrades in the soil.

It’s important to note that traditional fertilizers are quickly leached away, causing nutrient deficiencies precisely when plants are actively growing and have higher nutrient demands. With Mr. Green Grass feed, the constant supply of nutrients virtually eliminates this issue. Application

Summer Lawn Feed should be applied from early July through late August. The optimal rate is 3 kg of feed per 100 m² (30 g/m²) of lawn. Spread the product using a rotary fertilizer spreader according to the instructions. Apply 2 days after the last mowing. After application, water the lawn thoroughly. The summer feed lasts up to 8 weeks, after which apply Autumn Lawn Feed – Winter Survival – Mr. Green Grass®.

Do not apply the feed on pavements, floors, or tiles. If the blend spills on such surfaces, remove it immediately and rinse with water.

Our lawn unfortunately suffered heavily from this year’s heatwaves. It’s a challenging clay soil terrain where we installed a self-thickening sport variety this spring. There were many bare spots.
