Excellent Blend

Perennial Ryegrass Boxer (50%) is a variety with an intense green color that is characterized by very rapid turf formation. It guarantees an immediate effect of a dense lawn. Its high resistance to mechanical damage and foot traffic makes it a key ingredient for strengthening the lawn’s structure. Thanks to its increased share in the blend (50%), it ensures an even faster and more spectacular effect of a dense, green carpet.

Perennial Ryegrass Turfgold (40%) stands out with its very good tolerance for low mowing and high disease resistance. It gives the lawn a dense, carpet-like appearance and helps maintain its aesthetics. This variety also features good winter hardiness, which helps preserve the beautiful look of the lawn all year round. The increased share of Turfgold (40%) in the blend strengthens durability, disease resistance, and improves the overall aesthetics of the lawn in the long run.

Perennial Ryegrass Lolius (10%) is a high-density variety that ensures quick and effective ground cover. It is extremely resistant to heavy use, including foot traffic. Its high regeneration capacity allows for the quick renewal of the turf after damage and helps maintain a healthy and compact lawn. Despite its reduced share (10%), Lolius still plays an important role, providing the lawn with the ability to regenerate quickly.

The combination of the fast-growing and regenerating Ryegrass Boxer with Turfgold, which provides durability, disease resistance, and an attractive appearance, creates an ideal synergy. The increased share of Boxer provides an immediate effect of a dense, green carpet, while the high content of Turfgold builds a durable, compact, and traffic-resistant lawn structure. Thanks to this, the turf is not only beautiful but also exceptionally durable for years to come.

Application

The self-repairing lawn seed mix can be sown from March through the end of June and from early September to mid-October under stable weather conditions, avoiding periods of drought and frost. Recommended rate: 25–35 g of seed per 1 m².

Begin by verticutting the lawn (verticutter) or power raking it deeply to loosen the topsoil. Sow using a rotary or drop spreader, distributing the seed evenly, then water thoroughly. Maintain consistent soil moisture during germination by watering twice daily for 2–3 weeks. After that period, water regularly and evenly, preferably in the morning, adjusting frequency to weather conditions—typically twice weekly with 10–15 litres per m².

The first mowing should be carried out once the grass reaches 8–10 cm in height, cutting it back to 5 cm.
