Early Spring Lawn Feed – Quick Recovery – Mr. Green Grass®
Early Spring Lawn Feed – Quick Recovery – Mr. Green Grass® is a specialised fertiliser blend that accelerates the recovery of lawn damage after winter. Its main component is nitrogen, which promotes grass tillering and supports the growth of new leaves. Early Spring Lawn Feed – Quick Recovery – Mr. Green Grass® not only effectively thickens the lawn but also regulates the level of nutrients in the soil. Furthermore, it is safe to use and environmentally friendly.
Lasts long thanks to Enhanced GRF technology
In the Early Spring Lawn Feed – Quick Recovery – Mr. Green Grass®, we have used advanced Enhanced GRF technology (Gradual Release Fertilizer), enabling the slow release, controlled and even delivery of nutrients at the optimal moment.
The factors determining the release rate of a consistent dose of the substance are precisely defined soil moisture and temperature. Other factors such as pH, EC or microbial activity of the substrate do not influence the process. The technology is based on a polymer coating containing nutrients inside. Water present in the soil penetrates through the semi-permeable coating into the granule, then dissolves and releases the contents contained within. Once the entire supply is exhausted, the empty coating undergoes biodegradation in the soil.
It is worth remembering that traditional fertilisers leach away quickly, causing element deficiencies at the time when plants are growing intensively and have a higher demand for nutrients. In the case of care using Mr. Green Grass fertiliser, this problem is practically excluded thanks to the constant supply of nutrients. Therefore, it is the innovative Enhanced GRF technology that forms the basis of the outstanding effectiveness and high performance of this fertiliser, in order to best match the nutritional needs of the grass in the period up to May.

Application
Early Spring Lawn Feed – Quick Recovery – Mr. Green Grass® is the first stage of care. Apply it once in March or April, ideally immediately after mowing to a height of 5 cm.
Spread it evenly using a rotary spreader at a rate of 3–4 kg per 100 m² (30–40 g/m²). Note: Never spread lawn feed by hand, as this will cause uneven growth or even scorch the grass.
After application, water the lawn generously. Remember that some granules will remain visible and will gradually release nutrients. After 8 weeks, to continue your care routine, move to stage two and apply Spring Lawn Feed – Intensive Growth – Mr. Green Grass®.

Frequently asked questions
The best time is when the soil temperature begins to rise and the grass wakes up, usually at the turn of March and April. It is important that snow no longer remains on the lawn and the ground is not frozen. Application during this period allows the grass to instantly utilise nutrients for recovery after winter.
Applying early spring lawn feed – quick recovery – Mr. Green Grass® after scarifying yields spectacular results, as the nutrients reach the roots more easily. However, this is not a strict requirement – if the lawn is in good condition, the fertiliser will also work effectively without this procedure. Just remember to remove any organic matter and leaves before sowing.
Thanks to the high content of fast-acting nitrogen, the first signs of lush greenery are visible just a few days after watering. The fertiliser stimulates chlorophyll production, allowing the grass to regain its glow after the grey winter months. Systematic nutrient release ensures this effect is maintained for many weeks.
The Early Spring Lawn Feed – Quick Recovery – Mr. Green Grass® formula is designed to support the plant rather than weaken it, so light frosts will not harm the lawn. The fertiliser ingredients strengthen cell sap, which improves the natural resistance of young blades to temperature fluctuations. It is important, however, that the fertiliser is washed into the soil through watering or rainfall.
Yes, the product has been specifically created to stimulate tillering and thicken the turf in areas damaged by winter diseases. The nutrients accelerate the covering of bare patches by neighbouring grass tufts. In the case of large gaps, we recommend combining fertilisation with overseeding Self-Repairing Lawn Seed Mix – Patch Repair – Mr. Green Grass®.
