Strong, even and well-maintained turf is certainly the showcase of any football stadium. To achieve such an effect, a balanced fertilisation programme is necessary. Ideally, its foundation should be specially adapted football pitch fertilisers.

These are perfectly composed blends that ensure even and healthy grass development. They adapt the turf to intensive use, making it resistant to frequent trampling. Furthermore, they improve its regeneration capabilities and increase resistance to weather factors and pathogens.
Remember that it is not only fertilisers for the pitch surface that make the turf healthy, durable and resilient. Equally important is the use of professional sports grass, consisting of strong and hardy varieties. Moreover, it is resistant to running and low mowing. Therefore, it is not only exceptionally durable but also easy to maintain at the correct blade length. After all, no one wants a protruding clump of grass to decide the match result! Combining professional pitch fertilisers with specialist football grass will yield a medal-winning result.

Championship care

The basis of successful pitch grass nutrition is a regular care programme, founded on grass pitch fertilisers. In the first stage, at the turn of March and April, revival should be carried out with an early spring lawn feed rich in micro- and macronutrients, based on nitrogen. This nutrient perfectly stimulates grass growth and gives it a beautiful colour. Then, 8 weeks after the first treatment, a spring lawn feed should be applied, also nitrogen-based, but with a high content of other macronutrients: phosphorus and potassium. These ingredients support the growth and tillering of the turf. Summer fertilisation is based on protection against grass drying out. The final stage of the fertilisation programme is autumn feeding, which should be carried out at the turn of September and October. The fertiliser, rich in phosphorus and potassium, secures the turf for winter, protecting it against frost and the development of mould diseases.
Remember to fertilise mown grass, and the turf should be watered abundantly after the treatment.

When choosing fertilisers for sports facilities, it is very important to opt for proven products with reliable and effective action. The intensive use of sports turf surfaces means that the fertiliser compositions used must be perfectly adapted to the unique requirements of the surface. Therefore, you should choose comprehensive multi-component fertilisers that meet the nutritional needs of the plants at a given vegetative moment. We have composed our fertilisers in a thoughtful way, basing them on modern technologies so that they work for a period of approximately 8 weeks, constantly providing the turf with essential nutrients.
