Summer Lawn Feed – Complete Protection – Mr. Green Grass® is a fertiliser mix consisting mainly of total nitrogen, potassium oxide, phosphorus pentoxide and iron. Its primary task is to protect the grass from scorching. Furthermore, it prevents the leaching of nutrients and increases the lawn’s drought tolerance. It helps the lawn survive high temperatures and recover quickly. Our comprehensive summer lawn feed is environmentally friendly.

In the Summer Lawn Feed – Complete Protection – Mr. Green Grass®, we have used advanced Enhanced GRF technology (Gradual Release Fertilizer), which enables the slow release, controlled and even delivery of nutrients at the optimal moment.
The factors determining the release rate of a consistent dose of the substance are precisely defined soil moisture and temperature. Other factors such as pH, EC or microbial activity of the substrate do not influence the process. The technology is based on a polymer coating containing nutrients inside. Water present in the soil penetrates through the semi-permeable coating into the granule, then dissolves and releases the contents contained within. Once the entire supply is exhausted, the empty coating undergoes biodegradation in the soil.
It is worth remembering that traditional fertilisers are quickly leached, which causes nutrient deficiencies at the moment when plants are growing intensively and have a higher demand for micronutrients. In the case of care with Mr. Green Grass fertiliser, thanks to the constant supply of nutrients, this problem is practically eliminated. Therefore, it is the innovative Enhanced GRF technology that forms the basis of the excellent effectiveness and high efficiency of this fertiliser, to best suit the nutritional needs of the grass in the period up to September.
Application
Summer Lawn Feed – Complete Protection – Mr. Green Grass® is the third step of care. Apply it once in July or August, preferably directly after mowing to a height of 5 cm.
Spread it evenly using a rotary spreader at a rate of 3–4 kg per 100 m² (30–40 g/m²). Note: Never spread lawn feed by hand, as this will cause uneven growth or even scorch the grass.
After application, water the lawn generously. Remember that some of the granules will remain visible and will gradually release nutrients. After 8 weeks, to continue care, proceed to step four and apply Autumn Lawn Feed – Winter Survival – Mr. Green Grass®.

Without step 3, the lawn could become susceptible to diseases and more easily damaged by the sun.
Summer Lawn Feed – Complete Protection – Mr. Green Grass® contains an increased dose of potassium and micronutrients, which seal the grass cell walls, making it more resistant to high temperatures. This prevents the formation of yellow patches and the drying out of the turf, which are typical effects of heat stress in full sun. Your turf remains lush green, while lawns not given this treatment often lose colour and vigour.
