Containing a balanced set of macronutrients and micronutrients, our fertiliser meets the fundamental nutritional needs of a wide range of plants, ensuring they have optimal conditions for growth. Lasts long thanks to Enhanced GRF technology
In our slow release plant fertiliser – lush garden – Mr. Green Grass®, we have utilised advanced Enhanced GRF technology (Gradual Release Fertilizer), enabling long-term, controlled, and even nutrient release at the optimal moment.
The factors determining the rate of release of a constant dose of the substance are precisely defined soil moisture and temperature. Other factors such as pH, EC or microbial activity of the substrate have no influence on the process. The technology is based on a polymer coating containing nutrients inside. Water present in the substrate penetrates the semi-permeable coating into the granule, then dissolves and releases the enclosed contents. Once the entire supply is exhausted, the empty coating undergoes biodegradation in the substrate.
It is worth remembering that traditional fertilisers are quickly leached, which causes nutrient deficiencies at times when plants are growing intensively and have a higher demand for nutrients. In the case of care with Mr. Green Grass fertiliser, thanks to the constant supply of nutrients, this problem is practically eliminated. Therefore, it is the innovative Enhanced GRF technology that forms the basis of the excellent effectiveness and high efficiency of this fertiliser, in order to best match the nutritional needs of the plants.

Frequently asked questions
The best time for application is the entire period from March until July, which allows you to perfectly match fertilisation to your plants’ development cycle. Using the fertiliser in June or July is extremely valuable, as it provides plants with the energy for intensive flowering in the second half of summer and autumn. Thanks to the 4-month slow release technology, even a later application guarantees stable plant support until the end of the growing season.
No, thanks to Enhanced GRF technology, the ingredients are encapsulated in a special coating that releases them gradually under the influence of temperature and moisture. Even sudden storms do not cause the flash leaching of minerals into deeper soil layers, which often occurs with ordinary fertilisers. Your garden is protected against deficiencies, and you do not waste product during changeable, rainy weather.
Yes, this is an ideal solution for container gardening, where the amount of soil and nutrients is limited. In pots, plants are more exposed to fluctuations in moisture, and our fertiliser stabilises their nutrition over a long period. Just remember to water regularly, which is essential for the process of nutrient release from the granules to proceed correctly.
During periods of high temperatures, the fertiliser should be applied in the evening, avoiding spreading the granules directly onto leaves or stems. After application, it is necessary to water the plants generously, which will help the granules “settle” into the soil and begin the process of feeding the roots. Well-nourished plants cope much better with heat stress and recover faster after hot days.
Yes, the professional formula eliminates the need to repeat fertilising every 2 weeks, which is typical for standard products, and cares for your plants for approx. 120 days. However, please remember that once this fertiliser has finished its action, in late autumn it is worth applying our product “Winter Hibernation”. “Lush Garden” is responsible for growth and beauty in summer, while the autumn plant feed takes over the role of protecting the plant against frost and difficult winters.
